Philippe Grammaticopoulos created his own genre of black and white dystopian film-making earlier this century with Le Processus, Le Regulateur and a Gold Lion at Cannes 07 for his Amnesty International spot. With this new film, Les Ventres,(The Bellies) produced through Mr. Hyde in Paris, Grammaticopoulos adds some chroma to his signature cross hatch shading and extends his stark geometry into a tight four-minute narrative.
